Checked every mod I wanted, if it has an updated version that is compatible with the 'new' BG2 eet install tool. Prolly 5 + times Ive used BWS and its successor now. For me its the most complicater mod installation I ever experienced. Ppl always say the mod tool is great to install all the mods you want. If somebody could give precise information what exactly the tool wants me to do id be greatful. When and where exactly am I supposed to extract the file. The tool talks a lot but the most vital information was left out which i dont understand. Thats what the mod manager is supposed to do, non? Evybody told me there has to be a specific order in which mods are installed. Im hesitant to simply extract the file into the main BG2 folder. Where exactly am I supposed to extract the mod manually? The zip file is in the mod managers download folder.

Because there are alteady several weidu.exe (or at least one) in the main bg2 directory. Sadly the tool doesnt really tell you, step by step what to do. It asked me if I wanne extract the file myself and that I need to make sure a weidu.exe is there/is extracte. There was an error when extracting the mod 'portraits, portraits everywhere'. Made a fresh BG2 installation, created a save game, closed BG2 and started the tool. I wanted a new installation with a few mod changes.
